It can be extremely difficult to talk about hardships or trauma, especially for children, both special needs and not, as they may not have the language skills to express themselves fully. So, this approach helps people of all ages safely unlock and express emotions that may be hard to share verbally.
 

You don’t have to be an artist or especially creative to benefit from this approach. Often, when traditional talk therapy is less effective or intimidating, this creative process is the key to finding a deeper level of understanding.
