Hello! I’m Madeline. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in child, adolescents, and family therapy. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton, and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University.
Oftentimes, children and adolescents struggle to put their feelings into words, and even more, struggle to identify what triggers these feelings. If you, your child, or your family are experiencing difficulty in communication, feelings of hopelessness or no sense of where to go – that’s where I come in.
We often ask children and adolescents to tell us what they need but they don’t always have the skills to relay that message; then we become frustrated when they act out. I am here to help translate what they’re asking, as well as guide children to identify the help they need in a more efficient manner.
I help children, adolescents, and their families build the communication style that suits them in order to navigate the constant transitions of life. Let me help you build the bridge that’ll lead you and your family to smooth transitions.

My Specific Areas Of Expertise Include

Children

Adolescents

Families
My areas of expertise also include, but are not limited to parenting and attachment styles, behavioral techniques for child development and communication styles for children, adolescents, and families. My goal is to help children and adolescents identify their feelings and ways to communicate them within the family, as well as help the family navigate this changing world as a whole.
